My Professional Life

Currently I am a faculty member in mathematics at the Community College of Philadelphia.
I have taught mathematics for over 20 years at many different colleges and universities. My professional interests are in undergraduate mathematics education and evaluation of teaching effectiveness.

My Personal Life

Currently I am living in the Southwest Philadelphia area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have lived in many other states, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Maryland, New York, and most recently, Delaware.

I am a bachelor and naturally am interested in hearing from attractive single women.

Update: I am no longer leading Israeli dancing in Delaware, at least for the time being. After three years of suffering from plantar fasciitis, I have just had TOPAZ surgery on my left heel. I hope to recover and be able to resume regular dancing by Fall 2008.

Other interests include chess, shogi (Japanese chess) and other board games, classical music, computers, baseball (I am a Chicago Cubs fan), hockey, bowling, Hebrew language, and live theatre. I have become interested in the Eurovision song contest (which gets very little coverage in the USA). Recently I have become an avid bridge player (anyone looking for a fourth player?). Naturally I am also interested in singles activities and groups.
