My Professional Life
I have been a faculty member in mathematics at a number of colleges and universities, most recently
at the Community College of Philadelphia. After a great many years as a mathematics educator, I
stopped working in Fall 2010. I have written some articles about how to study and succeed in college. If you would like to read them, please send me an e-mail.
BridgeAt this point in my life, my most important interest is the wonderful game of bridge. I became a Life Master at bridge in 2009, and
a Bronze Life Master in 2015. I am looking for regular bridge partner(s) in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me if you might be interested.
I am also an accredited bridge teacher! I am available for individual or group lessons for any beginners or casual bridge
players looking to improve their game. You can also look at my Facebook page for people interested in learning to play bridge (click on little blue picture in corner).
I will be teaching bridge at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill in
the Fall of 2016! Classes will be on Tuesday afternoons (for complete beginners) and on Thursday afternoons (for players that would like to improve your game), beginning the third week
of September 2016. More information posted here soon, or call the program director Leslie at 215-247-4654.
